For shifters
ShiftSee is the first platform built for how you actually work. Pick up shifts at multiple places, negotiate what you're worth, and get paid fast.
Built around you
Most shift platforms treat workers like interchangeable parts. Post a shift. First click wins. Here's your rate, take it or leave it.
ShiftSee doesn't work that way. You build your profile, you connect with the businesses you want to work with, and every shift you see is something you can accept, decline, or counter.
You don't apply for shifts. You negotiate them.
What you can do
Browse shifts from connected businesses, or get alerts when something fits.
See a shift for $20 but it's worth $25 to you? Counter. Businesses can counter back. You agree, or you don't. On your terms.
Stack shifts across restaurants, studios, events, cleaning — all in one schedule. No more juggling three apps.
Stripe Connect puts your money in your bank within 1–3 business days of every completed shift.
Your rating, shift history, and reliability stats follow you to every business. Your work speaks for itself.
Work when you want. Don't work when you don't. No minimums, no quotas.
The feature no other platform has
Here's how it plays out on a real shift:
A restaurant sends you a shift request.
You look at it. 8 hours is a long day. And for the skill and weekend timing, you think it's worth more.
You counter.
The business sees your counter. They accept, decline, or counter back. Maybe they say: 12:30–8, $23/hour.
You accept. Everybody got closer to what they wanted.
On every other shift platform, you'd have two choices: take the bad deal or take no deal. On ShiftSee, you have a third option: get to a better deal.
How payments work
After you finish a shift and the business confirms it complete, your payment is automatic. Funds land in your bank account — typically within 1–3 business days via Stripe Connect.
No invoicing. No net-30 terms. No chasing anyone for money.
ShiftSee takes 10% from your earnings. On a $100 shift, you see $90.
Standard Stripe processing fees also apply (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
Because every other "free to worker" platform makes up for it somewhere — either by showing you lower advertised rates (the agency took its cut before you saw the number) or by refusing to let you negotiate.
ShiftSee charges a fee so you keep full transparency and full negotiation power. One successful counter-offer pays for months of fees.
What happens across jobs
Every shift you complete on ShiftSee adds to your profile. Rating from the business. Shift count. Roles you've worked. Places you've been. Reliability (how often you show up on time, how often you complete shifts, how often you cancel).
When you connect with a new business, they see all of it.
No more starting from scratch. No more "prove yourself" first week at every new gig. Your reputation travels with you.
